About me

Achim teaches AI governance, ethics and society at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence (CFI), University of Cambridge. He also served as Expert Consultant for UNESCO’s Ethics of AI Unit from 2025 to 2026, where he coordinated the development of UNESCO’s Global CSO and Academic Network on AI Ethics and Policy. Prior to his work at the University of Cambridge and UNESCO, Achim worked as Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Computing and Social Responsibility of De Montfort University, where he developed and led work on the responsible governance of AI in various projects.
