Cambridge, UK – 18 September 2025 — Cambridge Advance Online, part of Cambridge University Press & Assessment, took part in the Cambridge AI in Teaching Forum hosted by Cambridge Judge Business School, reaffirming its commitment to integrating cutting-edge technologies into modern education.

Stewart Utley, Learning Designer at Cambridge Advance Online, delivered a presentation titled “Quiz Question Generation Using Co-pilot Studio: Embedding Best Practices and Criticality into Design”, demonstrating how generative AI is being used to transform the development of formative quiz questions. His talk highlighted the importance of balancing efficiency with academic rigour, ensuring that AI-generated assessments remain pedagogically sound and engaging for both educators and learners.

Stewart leads the design of several flagship courses at Cambridge Advance Online, including Generative AI in the Software Development Lifecycle, which provides software developers and architects with practical frameworks to evaluate and implement AI across different phases of the SDLC. This course is part of the Technology and Data suite of the University of Cambridge Online courses, which also includes Leveraging Big Data for Business Intelligence and Human–Computer Interaction (HCI) for AI Systems Design, offering professionals the tools to navigate the evolving digital landscape.

The forum featured contributions from a wide range of educators and researchers across Cambridge, including David Stillwell, Dr Anthony Harris, Jon Bonsor-Matthews, Dr Becky Dell, Dr Matt Osman, and Dr Daria Frank, who shared insights into AI’s growing role in teaching, research, and curriculum innovation.
